TARVIN
Melvin B, age 78 of Dunedin, Florida, passed away on February 7, 2008 at hid residence under hospice care. He was born in Mulberry, Ohio and moved to Florida in 1971 from Williamsburg, Ohio. Melvin was the owner of Tarvin Mobile Home Services, Inc. for 30 years. He was an Army Korean War Veteran, member of the Clermont Social Lodge #29 and the American Legion Post #288 both in Williamsburg, Ohio. Melvin was protestant. He was a big Nascar Fan and enjoyed carpentry. He loved spending time with his family. He was predeceased by his wife Margie who passed away in 2006. He is survived by his daughter, Linda (Bill) Harris of Dunedin; son Michael (Patti) Tarvin of Clearwater; son Jim (Sandi) Tarvin of Dunedin; 5 grandchildren, Chris, Jason, Heather, William and Ashlee; 4 great grandchildren, Haley, Madison, Brandon and Jason. Loving companion, Loretta Boyd of Dunedin; sister Betty Augustin of Monticello, Florida, brother Carl Tarvin of Williamsburg, Ohio, brother Bonar Tarvin, of Batavia, Ohio, brother Donald Tarvin of Williamsburg, Ohio. Services will be held at the Maham Funeral Home, 187 North Second Street, Williamsburg, Ohio, Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. at the Funeral Home with Masonic Services at 7:30 P.M. A Military service will be held following the service at Williamsburg Cemetery.
